Course content:
Automation technology is essential for the control of increasingly connected industrial plants and production lines. Thus, the field of application of engineers who apply their interdisciplinary knowledge in this field purposefully in the phases of analysis, design, configuration, commissioning and maintenance, future-proof and varied. This requires engineers with in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering, control engineering, measurement technology, electronics and information technology / computer science, who are able to combine their interdisciplinary knowledge. The dual bachelor program in Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology provides methods for analyzing and finding solutions to technical problems. In the practical phases, the students apply their theoretical knowledge in concrete projects of the practice partner and deepen their professional and social competence during their studies. Business studies as well as technical English complete the studies and enable cooperation in interdisciplinary teams or to take over management tasks.
